JPG to PNG
Create a PNG from a JPG on your device, without sending the photo to a server.
When to use PNG
Choose PNG when your next tool requires it or when you want to avoid another lossy encoding step. Resize if the destination needs smaller dimensions.
What changes when you convert?
PNG stores the decoded pixels losslessly, but it cannot restore detail already lost in the JPG. Files are often larger. Converting to PNG does not remove the background or create transparency.
How to convert JPG to PNG
- Choose static images from your device.
- Keep PNG selected. Optionally resize or adjust the available settings.
- Click Convert, review each result and download individual files or a ZIP.
Privacy and limitations
Images are processed locally, one at a time. Orientation is applied and source metadata is removed. Output is a static SDR image. Results are not saved after you clear or leave the page.
